Аннотация

Анализируется степень изученности вопроса о влиянии разделенного правления на формирование американской внешней и оборонной политики. Особое внимание акцентируется на рассмотрении исследователями действенности тезиса А. Вилдавски о «двух президентствах» в условиях разделенного партийного контроля ветвей власти, факторов, определяющих взаимодействие президента и Конгресса в сфере внешней политики в послевоенный период, а также возможности возникновения тупика при принятии соответствующего законодательства.
