- Abstract
- Socio-cultural factors of the third stage of transformation of Russian society are considered. The author lists the stagnant spheres of life that are the brakes on modernization, and presents the hierarchy of basic values of the Russian population. The author proves the systemic gap between the human dimensions of stagnation in Russia and modernization in developed European countries. A General socio-cultural strategy of Russian modernization is proposed.
