- Abstract
- the article examines the political and scientific activities of Luigi Sturzo, an Italian priest, activist of the social Catholic movement, who was at the origin of the first Christian democratic party, and later a sociologist. The main theses of his sociological concept are presented, in which an attempt is made to combine the study of social processes with the comprehension of the supernatural reality created by the word of Jesus and the sacraments of the Church.
