Abstract

Housing problems of Russian citizens at the local and regional levels are in the center of attention. By means of the Internet the author offers an analysis of the housing sphere and considers actual housing problems in the city of Volgograd. She examines the problem of dilapidated housing, its overhaul, technical housing standards violations, housing problems of refugees. Case study method is used in order to identify regional practices and to define mechanisms of the housing problem solving in Volgograd.
