Abstract
A work Other Kingdom and its seekers in Russian fairy tale (1922) by Russian philosopher E.N. Trubetskoy is considered in the perspective of Russian Silver Age philosophy and in the light of humanities and folklore studies of the 20th century. А problem of national consciousness and pre-philosophy in Russian Silver Age thought is discussed. The comparative analysis of Trubetskoy's work and P. Florensky's "Imaginaries in geometry” (1922) is carried out. Among the approaches to the study of tales special attention is paid to morphological method by V. Propp and depth psychology by K.G. Jung. Feminine images in Russian Silver Аge culture (art, philosophy, poetry) are analyzed in the light of psychoanalytic ambivalence principle.
