Abstract
The influence by Socrat on the views of L. Giussani, Italian priest, philosopher and public activist of the second half of XX and early XXI century is revealed. The dialog and relationship with Others are conceived to be the basic component of thinking and philosophizing, since for both Socrat and Giussani it's Hunan being and Human nature that are of the top interest. Giussani is rather critical of contemporary society that is marked by stand-off of the authority
