Abstract

In the article the attempt is made to review the results of the ethnographic expedition to Colombo and Galle in 1913 made by Russian specialists in Indian culture A.M.Meerwarth and his wife L.A.Meerwath. It also tells the story of revisiting of Colombo and Galle by Russian ethnologists a century later.
