Аннотация
За последние 15 лет в Африке заметно возросла мобильность отдельных лиц и групп населения. Трансграничные мигранты, по различным соображениям не стремящиеся выезжать в другие части света, ищут наиболее благоприятные условия для получения образования и профессионального трудоустройства в пределах континента.В статье рассмотрены особенности интеллектуальной миграции в южноафриканском регионе. На базе ключевых государств (Ботсвана, Лесото, Намибия, Свазиленд и ЮАР), в совокупности с анализом коллективной политики, проводимой в рамках региональных организаций и форумов, таких, как Сообщество развития Юга Африки (SADC) и Диалог по вопросам миграции в южной части Африки (MIDSA), автором проанализированы причины и характерные черты миграционных процессов в регионе. В статье также приведены статистические данные о количественном и качественном составе местного трудоспособного населения и его учебно-профессиональных предпочтениях.
