Abstract

In March 2017, the International Conference on the Emergence of Africa took place in Abidjan (Cote d'lvoire). The event was attended by African government officials, representatives of the international and regional organizations, business circles, civil society and research centers from 54 countries. The discussion focused on issues of political and socio-economic development, problems and prospects for cooperation between African states on a bilateral and multilateral basis, and joint actions in the international arena.
