- Abstract
- The XVIII Congress of the CPC (November 2012) has proclaimed the need to accelerate the transformation of the pattern of economic development in China with a focus on building a more harmonious society based on the potential of modern industrial and scientific technical achievements. The CPC proclaimed the need to improve the quality of life of the people, substantially reducing the gap between quality of life and standard of living of urban and rural areas, creation of favorable environmental protection and creative openness to the outside world.
