- Abstract
- The article outlines the development of military capabilities of the radical Palestinian movement, HAMAS, in the territory of the Gaza Strip. HAMAS effectively used the experience of military wing of Shiite organization «Hezbollah». The author underlines that during 2006-2014 the military capabilities of militants of HAMAS in the Gaza Strip increased tremendously.The missile armament became the main military instrument of the Palestinian radicals. In addition HAMAS created powerful underground infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. Israel failed to prevent the growth of the military tension in the Gaza Strip.
