- Abstract
- The article analyzes the relationship between the current government and the opposition in two West African countries - Senegal and Cфte d’Ivoire. The author highlights the growing political influence of the opposition in both countries. Particular attention is paid to the features of the policy pursued by the incumbent presidents - M.Sallem and A.Uattaroy towards the opposition. The paper presents an evaluation of the existing authorities given by opposition leaders. The author analyzes the political situation in these two countries and tries to give a forecast on the eve of the presidential election.
