Investigations of the Russian-German-Mongolian expedition in Northwestern Mongolia

The article presents outstanding Early Iron Age finds from ice lenses under barrows in Northwestern Mongolia. Complex investigations of the burials, and of the uniquely preserved items made from organic materials discovered there, became possible due to the cooperation of Russian, German and Mongolian scientists.
