Abstract

Even during the cold war, the strategic triangle of the USA-USSR-China was formed, where the most advantageous positions – at the top of the triangle – were occupied by the United States, which maintained better relations with the Soviet Union and the people's Republic of China than the latter – with each other. However, after the collapse of the bipolar world, the relations between the United States and Russia, on the one hand, and the United States and China, on the other, faced a number of serious problems, primarily of a military and political nature. At the same time, over the past 30 years, the confrontation between Moscow and Beijing has been replaced by a strategic partnership between the two giants – a partnership that is objectively anti-American in nature. These changes changed the nature of the" strategic triangle " of America-China-Russia in the 21st century.
