Аннотация

В статье анализируются трансатлантические противоречия в сфере безопасности, международных отношений и энергетической политики. Особое внимание уделяется выявлению мотивов, которые определяют позицию администрации Д. Трампа в отношениях с союзниками по НАТО, в политических и торговых спорах с Европейским союзом. Автор подробно разбирает истоки нового всплеска напряжённости в американо-германских отношениях, вскрывает причины обострения разногласий между США и ЕС. В статье разбираются недавние шаги американской администрации по ужесточению санкций против газотранспортных проектов в Европе с российским участием, показано, в чём состоят особенности обновлённого законодательства Соединённых Штатов. В заключении даётся прогноз, как могут развиваться трансатлантические отношения в зависимости от результатов президентских выборов в США 2020 года.
