- Аннотация
«Коронавирусная болезнь 2019» (сокращенно COVID-19) – тема, завладевшая умами и поглотившая без остатка внимание сущего на планете, заставив в одночасье приступить к переосмыслению шкалы приоритетов ценностей и порядок вещей человеческого бытия. Кажется, не осталось ни единого предмета или явления, грани которых не подвергались бы тщательному обсуждению знающих, и не очень, мыслителей разных мастей сквозь призму коварной, не познанной хвори или в связи с ней.
Тема выборов президента и злоба дня – здравоохранение – сплелись как никогда в единый клубок, став подобием сиамских близнецов. И это понятно, потому что происходящее серьёзно, оно со многими неизвестными, не изучено наукой, но плата уже сегодня требуется за это устрашающая – жизни людей, исчезающие в короткий промежуток времени, за сутки отражаемая в «бездушной» статистике.
«Американцы сейчас переживают самую страшную пандемию за столетие и самый тяжёлый экономический кризис со времён «Великой депрессии». На каждом шагу президент Дональд Трамп усугублял кризисы. Если бы кто-то другой был президентом в декабре 2019 года – Хиллари Клинтон, Джеб Буш – меньше американцев встретили бы несвоевременную смерть; меньше американцев сейчас были бы безработными; меньше предприятий направлялось бы к банкротству», – тревожно-обвинительная и достаточно типичная реакция на происходящее в настоящее время в США. Остаётся вопрос: в какой степени такая точка зрения в максимально полной мере отражает архисложную ситуацию в стране, усугубившуюся в связи с пандемией коронавируса, что окрашено глобальным характером.
