- Аннотация
В статье рассматриваются формирование, эволюция и основное содержание «особых отношений» между США и Великобританией на современном этапе. Большое внимание уделено выявлению характеристик, которые определяют своеобразие американо-британского альянса. Автор раскрывает механизмы, которые обеспечивают преемственность в сотрудничестве этих стран по вопросам обороны и безопасности, показывает, как трансформируются «особые отношения» под влиянием современных вызовов. Итоги президентских выборов в Соединённых Штатах 2020 г. и выход Великобритании из ЕС влекут за собой последствия для американо-британских отношений, которые только начинают проявляться. Эти процессы будут всё заметнее сказываться в политике Вашингтона и Лондона, что делает актуальным анализ происходящих изменений.
