Abstract

The article examines the main parameters of the efforts of the new U.S. administration to change immigration laws. The main emphasis of the author is on the situation around the Arab Muslim component of migration flows, which was discriminated against by the administration of D. Trump. Most Muslims come to the United States today from the Middle East. This cannot but affect the situation of the Arab and Middle Eastern diasporas as a whole. The author notes the increase in political activism within, inter alia, communities of Arab Americans. They are seeking to increase their representation in the legislature now at all levels. The author's focus is addressed on a new electoral strategy aimed at bringing together the political positions and platforms of communities of immigrants not only from Arab but also from other countries in the Middle East region (Turkey and Iran). The efforts of the leaders and activists of these communities will focus on the formation and promotion of this strategy
