Abstract

In his speech, the author considers the main parameters of Sino-American relations, including the features during the presidency of D. Trump and currently D. Biden. Four modern directions of J. Biden's policy towards China are given, including the South Asian, Euro-Atlantic, intra-Chinese and intra-American vectors, as well as Chinese responses. The features of the Chinese strategy of "double circulation" and the desire of the PRC to reduce dependence on American imports of high-tech products are highlighted. The article analyzes the change in the style of China's diplomacy, the transition to a more active, offensive policy, attempts to create a "non-American world" around the "One Belt and One Road" initiative, as well as the accelerated development of the military-industrial complex, reducing the backlog of the PRC in terms of strategic weapons from the United States.
