Abstract

The author analyzes the new book of domestic historian V.L. Malkov devoted the history of interstate relations and diplomacy in sociocultural context between Russia and the USA in the twentieth century. In the book is considered the special algorithm in relations of two countries in the century of revolutions, world wars and nuclear opposition in the close connection with problems of spirituality, attitude of Americans and Russian as cultural generality with similarity inherent in them and distinction.
