Abstract

The article discusses methodological approach, historiographical context, concepts of the monograph by V.P. Smirnov, dedicated to the history of the World Wars of the twentieth century. A study is appreciated as a deep and highly professional generalization of historical experience of the First and Second World wars and their impact on domestic and foreign policy of the countries participating in global events.
