Abstract

The article analyzes one of the most important areas of foreign policy of China in the XXI century - its economic diplomacy, including measures of economic incentives and coercion. The efforts made by Beijing in order to create a strong economic dependence of the countries of the world from China have been described. The role of aid provision by China in achieving its foreign policy goals is disclosed.
