Abstract
The article analyzes the crisis phenomena in Russian sociology. The authors associate these phenomena with a departure from the principles of unity of theory and empiricism, from a consistent rationalistic explanation of social phenomena. The article presents the results of a content-bibliometric analysis of 1829 articles in leading Russian and foreign sociological journals. Their comparison revealed significant differences in such parameters as the structure of scientific publications, the description of the methodology of empirical research, and the level of statistical data analysis.
