- The article analyzes the socio-economic state of rural territories, the results of an expert survey of heads of local rural self-government bodies and heads of agricultural organizations. The assessment of changes in the Russian countryside, the actual and expected contribution to rural development of state and Federal target programs, opinions on priority areas of development is given.
