Abstract
Assessment of the quality of environmental, as well as civil legal awareness, is possible through the study of the population's attitude to socio-ecological offenses and potential readiness to commit them. The research results show a total socio-cultural crisis and its inherent contradictions, when the potential readiness of the population for environmental and economic illegal acts is combined with the need of the entire society to form cultural norms aimed at constructive socio-natural practices.
