Abstract
The hypothesis is proposed that modern man experiencing radical transformations and changes of identity, having to look for new types of habitation, new ways of life and new identifications, should pay attention to the so-called anthropotype of Northern civilization, to the Northern socio-cultural code that could be called nomadic. Recent anthropotrends are described, having to do with Human changing. The difference between South-West anthropotype and the mobile one, that has been formed among the nomadic Northern peoples, is demonstrated. The suggestion is made that it's the type of Northern identity that Russia could build on when forming its identity as a civilization.
