Abstract
This article discusses the theme of creation of the student associations and its functioning in the Japanese cultural environment. The stages of the formation of student clubs as a transition from samurai to modern corporate ethics are considered. A parallel between the activities of the Western and Japanese student corporations are drawn. The similarities and differences in student organizations of the West and Japan in the rites of initiation and consecution to ethical standards and values are shown.
