- Abstract
- The article traces the history of emigration from sub-Saharan Africa to France from the middle of the XIXth century till present. The objective of the article is to determine the main driving forces of African migration and its general perspectives. A special emphasis is made on the evolution of the African immigrant’s image in the public conscience.
