Abstract
The  article deals  with   the  main  aspects of  the  foreign capital’s inflow to the Indian  economy in the form of non- resident deposits. The author analyses the evolution of Indian government’s policy  towards foreign  capital in  the  form  of non-resident deposits. The data are given on volumes and structure of the non-resident deposits to India.
