- Abstract
- The paper describes the proceedings of the round table “Contemporary policies of the African National Congress (ANC): the Critical Assessment”, organized by the Centre for Southern Africa Studies of the Institute for African Studies and held in late 2012. The round table was dedicated to the discussion of the contemporary development of South Africa and the influence of the ruling African National Congress on the domestic and international policies of the country. The debates revolved around social and political development of South Africa, its foreign policy, the state of its army, agricultural reform and its race relations.
