Abstract
This article deals with the issues of economic growth in South Africa during the post-apartheid period. Drivers of economic dynamics are analyzed, including institutional and financial reforms which have been carried out by the ANC’s government. Domestic and external reasons for the slowdown of economic development at the turn of decades are also discussed in detail.
