- Abstract
- According to the established tradition once every three years at the Institute for African Studies a conference of Africanists is held on the occasion of Africa Day, celebrated on 25 May.XIII Conference «Society and Politics in Africa: constant, changing, the new» took place on 27-30 May 2014 in Moscow. Historians, economists, political scientists, sociologists, environmentalists, linguists and anthropologists shared the latest results of their research, discuss a wide range of contemporary problems of Africa at the meetings of 53 panels.
