- Abstract
- For millions of people, ethnic identity is something which is granted and not to be questioned. In modern society, the role of ethnicity, the process of ethnic revival associated with the desire of many people to preserve their identity, to emphasize the uniqueness of their culture and national character. The author introduces the reader to the history of the formation of the territory of modern Russian Korean ethnic communities, analyzes the diaspora policy of the Republic of Korea towards Korean diaspora, gives a list of modern nationwide and international Korean organizations.
