- Abstract
- This small study is an attempt to analyze Celtic forms, which indicate the possibility of reconstructing acrostatic verbal paradigms with quantitative ablaut at the Indo-European level. The Old Irish verbs, obviously going back to the acrostatic present, are considered in detail, the hypothesis of the original accentuation of the sigmatic aorist is presented.
