Abstract
The article deals with new opportunities for studying the processes of people's perception of the meanings of transmitted messages, which open up due to the differentiation of respondents according to sociomental characteristics, based on differences in the quality of understanding the intensiveness (semantic dominants) of complete, complete communicative acts. The article considers the structure of a communicative act and the mechanism of understanding and interpretation in cases of a) adequate, b) partially adequate and c) inadequate perception.
